Creating Careers - Vision2learn

URL: www.creatingcareers.net/channels/index.asp

Vision2learn from Creating Careers offers a range of free interactive courses, all leading to nationally recognised qualifications. Students are able to do all the studying for any one of twelve available courses online, with ongoing support being provided from a fully qualified Further Education tutor. Courses are funded by the Learning and Skills Council, and are accredited through a college local to the student. Free courses are usually available to any resident over 16 in England, as long as this residency has been for purposes other than full-time study. We pay 50p for a valid registration, and a further £4 for each student who goes on to complete 6 weeks of their chosen course, on a 999 day cookie, with higher commissions to become available to better performing affiliates.

Commission:

Hi all,

Many of you will know me as a moderator on this forum, as an affiliate, and some members from the 'old' forum will recall I did dabble in affiliate management back then too. Well, I'm back on the other side of the fence, and this is the first of (hopefully) a few more quality programs I'll be managing.

I first had contact with Creating Careers a month or so ago, and on speaking with them about this industry, I immediately identified a truely 'win win win' situation. They are in a unique position where they have the ability to use excess capacity in FE Colleges with 'distance learning' students, by offering students the ability to study online. Furthermore, just like an FE College, the courses are funded by the Learning and Skills Council, so there's nothing for the student to pay!

Win - Creating Careers provide more students to FE Colleges
Win - The student gets to study for a course, and get a real, recognised qualification at the end of it, at no cost to themselves
Win - The affiliate gets to earn lots of cash promoting a service that is of no cost to the end user

I can see this program being 'big' with the freebie sites at first. But, equally so, very successful for those of you with job/education/recruitment/training websites, as you could expect to see some very high conversions from registration to a 'sale'.

As per the program description, we will introduce a tierred commission system a little further down the line. Although I cannot say what these levels will be (will all depend on the first month's initial conversions) but we will be prepared to pay alot more on 'sales' for those affiliates who provide higher converting students from the point of registration to going on to complete 6 weeks of a given course. Additionally, I will make sure that any affiliate who does achieve high conversions in the next few weeks will have all their historical sales upgraded to the higher commission, so please don't hold back with your traffic, as I will make sure your traffic is paid what it's worth from the outset!

Finally, I am totally dedicated to this program and am always at the end of a phone or email for help, etc. We're happy to provide custom creatives, etc, so please request away.

My contact details are:

Email: affiliates@vision2learn.com
Phone: 0870 747 6327

I look forward to working with as many of you as I can in the coming weeks and months.

Freebie is an unknown quantity at this point
Seeing as Darrens trying quite hard on this, i'll try to help a little:

This programs rubbish

Nah, seriously, we threw this out to our members. We're showing it willy nilly to anyone (just targetted to UK). 10p per click is easy - and i would have thought near double this possible with better targetting.

Remember, that's 10p per click before any £4's are added (or not - we will see )

These figures are approximate (but close enough), and have been taken from a few hundred clicks worth of stats.
