ASOS.com has a 15% off promotion offer, it works on your current traffic and people will see it only on first visit and only if they leave the site, it’s in the forum of a pop-up. But you can direct link to the pop-up, banners are available inside the Paid On Results Affiliate control area.
This 15% offer is for new customers only.
There is also a 12% off voucher where the users just have to add the code poraffiliate at checkout regardless if they are a new customer or not. We are awaiting the banner(s) for this and once we get them make that live also, however you can text link and promote this offer on your site just now if you wish.
Let me clarify this cos it can be a bit confusing....
The offer above is for members who have not bought before… its an incentive for them to register and buy.
The new customer signs up and they are emailed a unique one off 15% discount code.
For any other discount that you are promoting, this is an “or” situation, one or the other, how ever, when the new member has used their 15% off voucher on their next purchase they can use your own % off voucher. In other words, the customer can not have the 15+12 =27% off…
That all makes sense but can you tell us when the 15% offer will be expiring - I assume the 12% poraffiliate offer expires 31st December like the tdaffiliate offer ?
Great for driving sales to asos though - on my new Christmas site you're certainly top of the tree

As yet I do not have an expirey date for the 15% nw members..... but if and when it does expire, it will be replaced with some thing else.... I of course will keep you posted
No... the 12% vouchers on both networks will expire 31st October 04.
I dont supose maybe ASOS would fancy using POR's customer base thingy?
or is that a long shot

Sorry I am having one of those cross eyed days
You and me both
Soooo AIUI anyone with an existing ASOS 10% promo code (like us) can promote this as a 12% discount code until 31st October 2004 and it will work as a 12% code automagically?
Or not? And don't even get me started on the 15% new customer promo or we're be here all night :-)
MorelyMouse... I dont know what POR's customerbase is or am I being a little slow?
Renegade: The 10% discount you have you can use. Or you can use the 12% discount or you can use the 15% off per new customer.
If you use the 15% off per new customer you can also tempt your visitor with a) your 10% discount on their second purchase or b) the 12% which expires 31st October.
Or you could tempt your visitors, twice.... ney thrice with 15% if they have never registered, 12% off their second purchase and 10% off their third purchase.
Its a deal, its a steal..... ( I wish this forum could have a music link) Ba ba ba ba ba ba ba ba ba ba ba
ah you know its that customer base, lifetime commission thing.
thats only thing that I think would make ASOS program better. Because users have to register to buy so then there signed up. And you send out newsletters weekly so once the cookies expired and the user is signed uo with ASOS the chances of them needing to go via an aff link again are very small. All they need to do is check their inbox.
sure another program offered a certain percentage on sales with just cookie, then a slightly less commission for lifetime - cant remember which though.
hope your filling in an overtime sheet!

A few merchants do this, it's in fact how I expected most people to operate a customer base program however Jon NI and Zak PrezzyBox have been very kind in keeping full commission rate for all customer base (non-cookie
