I've also been caught out a bit by this one. As I posted
here I was expecting quite a few deletions as they were showing a 30% reversal rate on the
POR stats two months ago, but that had fallen to 6.89% last month so I thought things were getting better and so kept them as the first listed program.
I had found that they were tracking a sale when a use clicked on the buy option but didn't complete the sale and had sent a support message to
POR about that before their email. I didn't know until now that it was also tracking quote saves as sales. Unfortunately I haven't received a response to that message or one I sent in reply to the message recommanding affiliates stop promoting them.
Just having a look at their site now I didn't realise you can't actually buy online, you have to call them or wait for them to call you. I'm not surprised this is causing
POR a tracking headache.
There are also a couple of bugs; the site won't work in Firefox (you can't accept the terms on the first screen) Also, when you get to the end of the process and get quotes from different providers, when you click to view the details you get the following error
Quote:
Microsoft VBScript runtime error'800a000d'
Type mismatch: '[string: "£354.49"]'
/kwikfit/QuoteDetails.asp, line18

But these types of problems don't seem to be just limited to Kwik Fit, the whole sector seems pretty poor - my experiences mirror
Jason's blog post - and I'm now focussing more on CPC.
