Hi guys,

The pending sales should now be up to date up through 1 Sep. If you reckon that's not the case for you, just drop me a line and I'll have a look for you. The validation of the sales should be coming through in bulk in the next couple of days as well.

We will be making a change - should be next week - that will allow you to see your pending sales automatically as they occur. This will give you some instant feedback on what's happening. Of course keep in mind that a proportion of the sales will not go through due to failed credit checks, etc. Ultimately the validations will be done daily, with a 10-day "arrears" to allow time for the longer credit checks. But for the time being they will be done in bulk every few days.

After sending over 5,000 visitors to Freemans Grattan and Kaleidoscope over the last few months without getting a single sale, this morning I changed my links to CJ - and this afternoon I got my first sale.

This makes me wonder whether there's a problem tracking the sales via POR's product feeds (which were the only links I was using).

Has anyone else using their product feed had the same problem?

Where a normal link or deep link they all go via the same script at the merchants domain. We have paid ten of thousands of pounds worth of commission to affiliates and sales are coming in every day. However I will request another deep link test sale from the Merchant to be sure, this will be by any luck complete on Tuesday as it is late in the day to get one done now.

Its nice to see this week pending sales coming through.... I changed my links from CJ due to bad payment on CJ side

Never in all my time with POR have I ever had any issues with tracking...I would urge you check your links, next... look at your traffic... failing all of those, talk to POR :0)

My links all came directly from the product feed - so if the links were wrong it was a problem with the feed - and they were still tracking as clicks!


5,500 clicks on POR, no sales.
Since changing to CJ, I've had two sales from around 100 clicks.


The number of clicks I sent via POR are too big for this to just be a coincidence.
I'll see if I can find one of the POR links (may not be possible because I think I deleted them all from my database), and check it again, but the last time I checked the links appeared to be OK.

Just found some of my old POR links in Google's cache, and they contain the correct affiliate ID, and click through to the correct page on the merchant's site. They just don't appear to have been tracking sales.

one of the bits in a deep link form a feed is different than a normal link - the bit after your user id... I assume this code has some sort of significance and id's where the link is originally from...
