What is Network Cookies!

Network Cookies is term used by Paid On Results to describe how a network of sites are joined in a virtual network for tracking sales. Basically they all have independent links, tracking, cookies and so on but we can view and track sales across these independent links and cookies.

What this means for you the Affiliate is that some Merchants will link sites together in order that you make commission from sales for other sites they own or might promote. In short you make sales if someone leaves one of these sites and visits one of the others, also the cookie is set so if they direct mail existing customers about the other sites in the network cookie, you get any sales from this also.

This technology has been around since day one of Paid On Results going live and a number of Merchants have taken it up, and it’s been resulting in sales Affiliates would never have got in the past.

So it’s important that if you join a site that belongs to a network that you join the others ones as well (and promote them helps increase your chances of Network Cookie sales), because if you’re not a member we can’t track the extra commission and pay you.
