just noticed this fella i nthe old sales list, re-brand of z2 some involvement from Jess if i remember right?

just wondering what the deal is really, do i have to change anything or just keep as it is? I use the feed mostly so as long as links etc are updated in there im happy

Hi Dan, nope you don’t have to change links, the old ones that worked on the z2 site, they will work no problem on this new site, this also includes deep links. Banners will also have been updated automatically so again nothing to worry about here.

We try our very best to make sure in 99% of cases when a merchant changes link set-up or in this case domain name and site that Affiliates have nothing to do with regards to tracking links and banners.

I think the next step will be alerting Affiliates that have Z2 Clothing in text that they need to update this to Designer Pitstop however the priority was on smooth change over without any lost sales to the new site. A message about updating the text will be winging its way to Affiliates in the near future.

Due to the way we done our deep linking setup from day one we are one of the few Networks where a Merchant can change site setup and Affiliates don’t need to update deep links. If the Merchant had been using at the end of a link "url=http://www." stuff then everyone would have had to update, what a nightmare that would have been.

Graham of z2 now DesignerPitstop is a mate and I am just giving him a little help here and there on an adhoc basis. We have not announced anything yet but will be whilst we get a few more little bits sorted out.

POR is just so cool re being able to just swap sites without affiliates being affected re links. Very very impressed with this.

Z2clothing.co.uk has re-branded to DesignerPitstop.co.uk
Ok we admit it, z2clothing.co.uk the name was simply pants, open to misspellings and Jessica Luthi kept on calling us a2zclothing.co.uk. So we all sat down and drew up a list and decided on DesignerPitStop.co.uk.

So new look and even better products and we got ourselves a real graphics company too, www.studio3k.com. We have looked at our prices and done some competitor analysis and we are at long last ready. Let it not be said that we have not struggled to get here, the blood, the sweat, the sleepless nights, and even a potential law suite, we kid you not! So on some savvy advice, we have done the following to assist you in increasing both our conversions and products, all feedback gratefully accepted graham@designerpitstop.co.uk

Do you need to change your links?

The answer is no, those clever people at PaidOnResults.com have a system where by, they control the main part of the domain name, so we can change our domain name at any time. POR only need everything after the.co.uk. So there is no need for you to change your links. You do how ever need to update your description on your website and upload an new product feed if you use them.

So what is new with the affiliate program?

We have removed any affiliate commission leakage.

You are now able to deep link to categories and product specific.

We have increased affiliate commissions to 10% on all referred sales.

We have an open PPC Policy

We have increased cookie dates to 120 days

We now have an affiliate commission Christmas pot, for every sale you generate, Designerpitstop.co.uk will add £1.00 to an affiliate profit share pot. This will be divvied up amongst our active affiliates, active meaning have generated at least one sale.Now we know its not long before Christmas, so we ask you to look at the long tail rather then the next three months, we just want to show you our commitment to our affiliates by way of thanking them for promoting us.

We are always looking at ways to receive your referred visitors so we can convert them, this means we are looking at our products and web analytics and don't take anything for granted. We hope you like our new look site and will continue to support us.
