As of today AffiliateProgramAdvice.com will be EBTM.com’s exclusive affiliate marketing management agency. “its been a long time coming” I originally helped set up the affiliate program when the company first formed, installed the great and wonderful Kier Marsten at EBTM.com to run the affiliate program and what a sterling job he did.
The little minx left and is now nestled in the bosom of webgains.com (Did I make ya cringe Kier? Ha ha ha), and so there was no one at the helm for a long time. AffiliateProgramAdvice.com back in the day had only just been set up and we were not scaled up to be able to manage the affiliate program effectively as we were essentially a consultancy firm. Earlier this year EBTM.com employed an agency to run the affiliate programs, to whom we are all grateful to and the gauntlet has been passed back to APA t& the posse.

We have a lot of work to do in getting every one up to speed and working effectively, if the stats from the networks are to go by. We have put in a request for new industry sized creative’s, for promotions (one kicking off on Monday 17th, see below) Christmas, Sale and we will be requesting valentines creative too. We are busy creating articles and negotiating with EBTM.com with regards to affiliate use of discount vouchers and other new customer incentives. All this will take time and changes may not happen overnight. Please be patient. We will be reviewing affiliate terms and conditions and also reviewing the PPC policy. Our job from here on in is to get you all working and earning and giving you the support that you need. One thing affiliates need to keep in the back of their minds, we are go betweens.

Affiliate helpful hint re generating sales: Facebook, my space, bebo. Don’t focus on all poducts and all music genres, drill down and go niche ;0) Stick to what you like and know.

Hi Jess

Just a bit curious, aren't you a director at ebtm? It just rings a bell something that ebtm was bought out (by cant remember who) and then changed name.
Its irrelevant to promoting ebtm, but you seem to be talking third party.
Maybe just my Sunday headache?

Where I fit in, I was given share options in E-RetailPLC,but not Director status, I would not have wanted that then nor do I want it now, being a director would have clipped my wings. When the revert happened, I was then under a new contract, not director but as a freelancer. My job was to set up the EBTM affiliate program, install an affiliate manager and oversee that affiliate manager for the interim bedding in period. At the time, my business was not scaled up to be able to dedicate a full time aff manager when Keir left. So the programs were left to grow organically. I’m now scaled up and away we go, but no, I was never a director and nor do I want to be one. I just love building things, if the truth be known, I would hate the constraints that comes with such a position. The internet moves at the speed of light some times, I love shifting and turning and twisting and creating, you cant do that when you are a director, for them its all about procedures, admin. Nahhhh Quentin Griffiths knows me and knows how I work, I need the freedom to move so I can bring in the money for them and for you via the affiliate route. Clip my wings and Im a do do!
