New Content Units - Children's Rooms Examples

You may have read the post “Advanced Content Units – New Range!" and be none the wiser as to what we have done, and no better way of showing you than by example, real live examples here on the forum no screen shots or images, actual working content units for you to try out.

Affiliate A needs to add content to a page he has done about Power Rangers, and wants it to fill the whole page, so he comes along to Paid On Results, clicks “Content Units” from the menu bar, selects “Children's Rooms” and is presented with a default content unit with lots of products, but he is only interested in Power Rangers so he selects “Customise Content Unit” and ticks the box “Power Rangers”, hey presto he no has a Power Rangers content unit and can cut and paste it in to his site, and here is what he made.

Affiliate B on the other hand has a blog all about Dr Who so she goes to the Children’s Rooms content unit page, selects “Customise Content Unit” and ticks the box “Dr Who” and changes the Template to “180px wide” but only wants to show 5 products max so changes the number of products to show via the “Number of Products” option. She then cuts and pastes it in to her site and that all took less than 1 minute to produce this constantly updating content unit that is customized for her blog.

Do the content units automatically update with the best sellers list for instance.

This is a query for all POR content units, but could not find a general por content unit thread.

Yes as the feeds update the content units update also, so if you have selected the best sellers to show first and that changes when the feed updates than the content units update shortly after, mostly that happens at night time or in the morning when we pull in the feeds from all the merchants, then checked by the server efore being published. Only time it won't happen is if the feeds has an issue then the import is stoped from going live and has to be checked by hand.
