Grrr... Account MS adCenter Hacked!!!

Not happy!

Some scammer has just hacked my adCenter account and run up over £100 worth of fees in two days. Lowlife

Have just contacted MS and will keep you informed but I would suggest that if you are running adCenter ads it may be worth checking your account. I only noticed as my monthly budget was just reached and I had the notification email.

The hackers ad was re-directing clicks to: 1freefilesdownload.com/1594?

MS have been brilliant

Quick response to my query and personal call today to apologise and advise of best way ahead.

All fees refunded and removed.

Not sure what long term action they may take against scammer, but I got the impression there's not much they can do.

From my point of view though, 5 stars to MS adCenter for sorting this out


As for: 1freefilesdownload dot com - My notifications of their users scummy tactics are just being bounced back. I guess it's not just their users that are dodgy!
