Location showing on Ad

Hello

Can anyone tell my why our location shows at the bottom of some of our ads?

Oh, and how we can remove them?

Thats a coincidence - we meet again ! I was going to post the same question. I thought it was something to do with local ad. settings in Adwords. Tried Googling it but no clear answer. Could be G testing as they do quite often ? Bit disconcerting if you don't want it there.

I thought (but not sure) that I may have triggered it on some ads by putting in 'Birmingham' with the keyword, only I didn't see it before that.

Hello again!

We've extended some ads in to Europe and I've signed up to the Adwords Pro thing so I was wondering if either of those might be the trigger.

I'm relatively new to this stuff but the one thing I've learned is that the laws of physics and logic seldom apply to Google....

Are your ads Geo Targeted?

Can you show an example?

If your geotareting is just at England then you'll have England at the bottom of the ad

Apologies for the delay.... I got distracted...

The 'problem' seems to have gone away now.... bizarre!

We were targeting quite a number of countries and the UK as a whole so I'm not sure it was that?
