Hi Stuart,
As far as I'm aware, unless Amazon have special privileges as part of a trial Google is running, you can't create headlines of more than 25 characters. BUT if you're using dynamic keyword insertion {KeyWord: } in the headline, description or display URL, Google does appear to sometimes let an extra character or more in, when it dynamically places the key word or phrase in the ad. I'm taking a wild leap in the dark and guessing this may be down to Google calculating the width of the characters in the headline or keyword, as 25 i's iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii for example, take up less room than 25 w's wwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww.
Cheers,
Stuart
