    Hey there
I have this challenge with setting up landing page split test with a Clickbank product. GWO needs a conversion page, which I cannot set up since it is clickbank. But some say a html redirect would be the best solution. Did I get the following right?

    - User clicks on my ad and gets directed to my landing page
    - User clicks on one of the "click here" button, (which now is an affiliate link) and gets to my html redirect, which is essentially just a 1-2 second pages that gets the user to the Clickbank offer. On this page, I have installed google's conversion tracking code in the source code and take that click that as a count for later measurements .i.e. split testing?

my question is what about my beautiful php tracking code (which is a php code attached to the hoplink, that get's the unique tracking code from the keyword) that was on the affiliate link? That one will now be replaced with the html redirect, will it now, hence losing my keyword tracking abilities? Hmm, or am I missing out something in the equation, please help. many thanks!

if you can add a sub id to the keyword (not sure with clickbank as I don't use them) which you should be able to with most other networks then you can use php code, it's been covered a few times on the forum and the code is there if you search for it. i.e

    http://www.affiliates4u.com/forums/w...g-php-how.html

you could also try something like Prosper202 Self Hosted Apps which is a free tracking script you host on a standalone domain, you can upload your network reports into it and it will then tell you exactly which keywords are generating sales and which aren't etc.

tracking202 takes a bit of setting up (isn't techical, you have to kind of replicate your adwords account) but could be worth it for you if you are serious about finding out exactly which keywords are rocking and which can be cut
