Hi everybody,
It seems that driving traffic to merchant's site (via affiliate link) should give a higher conversion, as a visitor goes directly to the sale page.
However, by doing so, you loose visitors, that could potentially bookmark your site and become your permanent audinence.
On the other hand, driving traffic to your (affilliate) site may earn you some permanent readership, but conversion will likely to be much lower, as less visitors, who came via a PPC ad, will click on your affiliate links.
So I'd like to ask those who consistently makes income with PPC:
when you promote affiliate products with PPC, what do you choose as landing page(s) for your PPC ads - your own (affiliate) site or merchant's site, and what're your arguments in favour of one or the other?
