I spend a fair amount on ppc but have no real measure on the resulting profits I should be expecting. So, just wondered what everyone else feels is a reasonable return and if extra investment = similar ROI (although I very much doubt it).

    What ROI are you achieving?

After much work, I've just managed to go from negative ROI to circa 20%. This is measly compared to the 100% ROI most people talk about. However, there are more optimisation work that can be done on this campaign, which will surely increase the profitability.

With PPC, I am aiming for the mid to long tail, and spending increasing amount of time compiling ROI reports. Just out of interest, How are you doing these?

I've been using it for the past few years and I do pretty well for my clients. I don't think I would do well if I was having to sell a product that cost 24.99 and under though.
