Yes I had a campaign that went seriously over budget last month when it triggered a payment the invoice had a massive overdelivery credtHas this happened to anyone before and did you get your money back ?![]()
Has anyone else noticed this problem regarding Adwords:
I changed the maximum cost per click a couple of days ago and google are still charging me the previous amount per click thru.
I know if you limit yourself to so much a day google will then pay you back if you go over but what about the max click thru rates. It would be a shame to pause my campaign at the moment but my whole months advertising spend is going to go in one week at this rate. I have written to google and am waiting for a response.
Has this happened to anyone before and did you get your money back ?

I deleted a campaign but was still getting clicks for a couple of days after
Thanks Keith for the info.
I have currently reduced my max ppc to such a small amount that I shouldn't be showing up at all.
I will post back on this forum if I get a refund.

Check that you haven't set max CPCs on some of your individual keywords. They would override the max CPC of the ad group.
Assuming that's not the problem, you could always call AdWords UK Support on 020-7031-3000 (choose option 5 at the menu.)
If it's their error, they should give you a refund.
Yep !!!! That's the problem - I had set around 15 individual keywords at the top ppc rate so looks like I am not going to get a refund after all..... Thanks for all your help.... I have just gone in and made the adjustment.
