Hi all,
Because I've experienced some problems with my account I though this would help you too. I got that from Google Adwords direct:
Here are some tips for faster loading. Before logging out of your account, at least consider doing some of these things to minimize load time at your next login:
* Set your date range to 'today'. This is a whole lot less info than 'all time' in a large account.
* When you have the option as to how many of something to show, set it for the lowest number. (i.e. minimum number of keywords instead of all of them.)
* Select 'Show only active campaigns' rather than 'Show all campaigns'.
* Select 'Show only active Ad Groups' rather than 'Show all Ad Groups'.
* Uncheck the 'include deleted items that were active in this date range' box at the Ad Group level.
Doing these things will minimize the amount of data that must be pulled from the database during login - and will speed things up in large accounts.
Important note: exceeding the suggested maximums for number of Ad Groups and keywords can also really slow things down. These suggested maximums have been posted in this forum quite a few times.
The suggested limits that apply here are:
* Suggested Max of 100 Ad Groups per campaign.
* Suggested Max of 750 keywords in a single Ad Group.
* Suggested Max of 2000 keywords per campaign.
* Suggested Max of 50,000 keywords per account.
I hope that helps :-)

You are welcome Kieron.
Now, I'm killing myself trying to move all my campaigns to new accounts and delete unnecessary keywords.
I've done 2 adgroups, not campaign, in 1 hour!
Btw, I've got another great tool for everybody.
This is a Keyword generator.

When you're setting up keywords on Adwords what's the best way to set them up?
Does fewer, broad match terms, or thousands of [exact match] terms work best?
Advice for an Adwords newcomer much appreciated!
cheers
Jeff - you superstar - thanks for that link

I have not lost my mind - it is backed up on disc somewhere
It depends on the market you are on. The idea is to find a niche whith few competition and test different methods.Does fewer, broad match terms, or thousands of [exact match] terms work best?
