Since Thursday last week all my Adwords accounts have been suspended. It took Google a whole week to review my accounts and this morning I received the following message:

Further to my previous correspondence, I would like to explain that our Specialists have reviewed your Google AdWords accounts and it has come to our attention that they do not comply with our terms of service and advertising policies. Please note that as a result, we have permanently suspended your AdWords advertising and your ads will no longer run on Google.

According to the chat specialist I will not be able to advertise on Google ever again.

This pretty weird, especcialy when you keep in mind that they never send me a warning about suspending my account or notifying me of this suspension.

They never gave me a reason for the suspension either, but I guess it was because I was running multiple accounts.

I cannot build a new account because they have declined my credit card data. You guys think I can build a new account if I have a new credit card?

Below is copy of my last chat. I also love it how the Chat Representative left in the middle of the chat

Chat InformationThank you for contacting Google AdWords. Please hold a moment while we route your chat to a specialist who will help you with your question: "".
Chat InformationNadia has received your message and will be right with you.
Nadia: Hello. Thanks for contacting Google AdWords. How may I help you today?
    you: Good day
you: This morning I received the following e-mail from Google
you: Further to my previous correspondence, I would like to explain that our Specialists have reviewed your Google AdWords accounts and it has come to our attention that they do not comply with our terms of service and advertising policies. Please note that as a result, we have permanently suspended your AdWords advertising and your ads will no longer run on Google.
you: What can I conclude from this
Nadia: Would you mind waiting a moment while I pull up your account?
    you: sure
Nadia: Thank you for waiting. I've reviewed your account, and our records indicate that your ads have been suspended and you will no longer be able to run on Google.
    you: Yes I understand that
you: But wont I be able to create a new account for my company
Nadia: You will be unable to create a new account with the AdWords program.
    you: For how long ?
Nadia: Your advertising has been suspended permanently.
Nadia: Is there anything else I can help you with?
you: Who do I talk to to fix this
Nadia: At this time, there is nothing that can be done regarding this situation.
you: Wat what time there will be?
Nadia: You can email us with your concerns at adwords-support@google.com.
you: I want to advertise on Adwords again
you: I've never been given any reason for my suspension
you: I read the whole guidelines list
you: And the only reason I was suspended could be that I was running multiple accounts
you: This can't be the reason I am being suspend for the rest of my life
Nadia: As I mentioned earlier, you can contact us at adwords-support@google.com regarding this situation.
you: I like to speak to someone directly
you: Can you please supply me with a phone number
Nadia: Currently we do not offer phone support for international advertisers. I would be happy to forward your request on your behalf or you are welcome to email us at adwords-support@google.com
you: I already send e-mails to that e-mail address but all my e-mails are being ignored
Nadia: I will forward your request.
Nadia: What is the best email address to contact you at?
you: (removed e-mail address for spam purposes)
you: Will it help if I contact my local Google office about the situation
Nadia: It will not influence your situation. I will forward your request once this chat session is finished.
Nadia: If you have any more questions, please feel free to visit our Help Center. You can also print this chat transcript for your records.
you: How do you mean it will not influence my situation ?

Quit PPC maybe. Or move to Overture and Miva.

If you were operating multiple accounts, against Google's TOS then they are perfectly within their rights to do this.

If you were running multiple accounts, with several ads running upon the same keywords with slightly different and innacurate display urls then you deserve to have been thrown off.

Last week I reported someone for doing just that. maybe it was you. Google does have its own peculiarities and they can be argued and argued but many of them are justified, and in place for a reason.

Ah.. I was going to refer you to a thread at Webmasterworld I read, then I noticed you've already posted there!

There has been quite a few posts on multiple accounts, I guess that's where the problem is, especially if you were bidding more that once on a keyword. If you were managing an account on behalf of someone else, then that *does* appear to have been a practice tolerated in the past.

Errr... life without AdWords would be very difficult if it happened to me. There *are* other programes out there, but AdWords is the best. I've tried AdBrite and Overture but without much success.

    You guys are partly right

In theory I was wrong by running multiple accounts, however I had two of my accounts generating zero to 20 clicks per day. My third account generated good clicks on the same settings. So that's why I was having multiple account.
But I am not here to justify myself..

What can I do next? Apply for new credit cards and play by the rules, beg to my knees to let me on the network again ?

Yes same here I generated about 85% percent of my sales through Google, so I have a major revenue drop. My problem is not that I generate a whole lot of less sales with my current products, but without Adwords my company has almost zero future potential

so they all rolled over and one fell out.

I don't wish to sound too unsympathetic but I really cant help it, with your bad practice out of the way, we might all move up a couple of places and divide your 85% revenue amongst ourselves.

I expect that you were bidding on gambling keywords.

    Strictly forbidden.

google are really funny like that, whisky and gin are a no no, yet copious ammounts of wine and champagne are fine you can even get absynth with a mis-spelling, gambling is bad, yet how to cheat at gambling is good.

Google are a bit annoying like that, one click of a key and you're out, I've heard of them spanking adsense users for clicking their own adsense links even once but not really heard of an adwords account being withdrawn for life

I know of one sector where two guys have all the listings on adwords on google for separate sites with separate accounts, 4 accounts each on exactly the same keywords with almost identical sites and they've been like this for about a year.

How do you mean, they have like this for a year? They've been banned for a year or they ran their accounts like that for a year?

No words from google yet. I ask myself, is the ban company based or person based? Any of you know that?

If you had multiple accounts promoting the same thing then there is nothing that you will be able to do to address the situation. It expressly contravenes one of the big rules of PPC and carries the most severe of penalties, without warning.

If you killed someone you wouldn't expect for a first offense to get a smacked wrist.

In auditing paid listing competitors it's what a lot of agencies do and because of affiliate schemes it's usually very severe cases that result in this action.

The mere fact that you are trying to find back doors into the system for me makes the decision Google made totally the right one, and if Overture and Miva are watching they'd also be wise to look out for it.

Paid search is a hard enough arena for advertisers at the best of times, without PPC spammers.

I'm sure we all take this Affiliate business very seriously but to create an analogy to someone breaking AdWords T's and C's to offing someone is a bit harsh!
