    Hey everyone,

Got a problem with Adwords that seems to have come from nowhere. Here's the situation:

I've used Adwords since it started and never had a problem with my account size. But I'm constantly getting plagued by the 'unmanageable account size' error. I've pruned back to 17,000 keywords but still get it.

Anyone any idea what I can do to solve this? And my second question:

Is it the done thing for super affiliates to have many accounts at Adwords? The mantra seems to be bid on as many keywords as possible with some big players, but how can you do that with one account?

    Thanks

Thanks for the reply. I'm hoping it's just a technical error at Adwords. I have friends and family using Adwords and their accounts are larger than mine. It's not letting me upload a single keyword because of the current size of my account.

Hmm, I am having the same problem. Did you manage to resolve this? Google just keep telling me to tidy up the account but I have done and my keywords are seriously down on what it was but still cannot make any additions to this one campaign (which I have pruned) although I seem to be able to add as many as I want to another. Really very annoying.

I had this also. I got to the bottom of it as well.
For me, it was because I had 25 campaigns, and apparently that is the default limit. I called them up and they increased it to 50. She warned me that it might slow down a bit when I'm trying to edit things etc.

It'd be nice if they told you that was the limitation in the error message.

    Hello,

Yes, I managed to get this fixed. You have to stress that it's a technical problem and they'll elevate it to the tech department. They looked into it and managed to get whatever it was fixed. Of course by then I'd pruned away many non-essential keywords but at least it was a bit of a spring clean.

But yes, I'd keep on at them and stress it's definitely something at their end.

Hope this helps and good luck!

Thanks for posting an update. Was there an issue with the number of campaigns?
