I might be missing a trick here but why would anyone want a search engine that you download? - since you have to be online for it to return any useful results, what's the point?

Am I mistaken in thinking that you can already search by location in one of firefox's addons?
Oh and even better still
local.google.com - that does exactly what you said it didnt
