Has anyone else noticed this problem? Try some of your PPC keywords, if they are anything like mine, they may appear in a different position between the two browsers, and in the case of some keywords, appear on IE and not firefox, at all, meaning i'm only hitting part of the market. I've seen this happen with both affiliate and merchant work, and have had no satisfactory answer from adwords themself!

    Anyone else experiencing this?

Have you used the ad preview tool:

    https://adwords.google.com/select/Ad...ingPreviewTool

This shows you what your users are seeing. Adwords serves ads to you and works by understanding what you want. Because the ppc market is so volatile things move around all the time based on cpc's, bid strategies and adscheduling etc.

Say i search for 'car insurance' and keep hitting refresh, adwords is trying to serve ads that i have/have not clicked on, so if my ad is at the top and i keep searching but never clicking it pushes that ad down because it thinks that im not interested in that one.

Using the preview tool eliminates this problem - see what happens and update this post!

FF gives you more control over security settings than IE and this may explain some of the differences. Check that both are set the same.

Even with switching off all cookies and caching, Google will still be sniffing your IP address and trying to deliver 'relevant' ads.
