Am I doing right on my tracking URL?

Hi,

I am currently promoting a merchant program where I will directly send traffic into their site from my adword account. I am planning to put a tracking URL format in my destination URL, so as I don't really want the merchant to know my kws. Can someone advise me whether the order is right? The typical format of my affiliate network URL are as follows:

http://www.affnetwrok.com/click.php?...ickref=testing&?source=google&kw=007

The blue part is the standard affiliate network URL, and I want to add in the "red" last part to track my source of traffic as well as kws. Am I doing right? Is it the correct order to put the "?source" & "kw"? Thanks

Not sure if the formats exactly right, but you wouldn't have the second question mark in it, it should all be in the main block of parameters.

Should be:

http://www.affnetwrok.com/click.php?...kref=testing&source=google&kw=007

It really depends on not Network you're using, which is why I couldn't answer.

Each of the networks use their own formats, so it's really network dependant.

If you post the name of the network you are using, then you will get an answer.

All right, I see. The affiliate network I am using is Affiliate Window. Their standard tracking URL is as follows:

http://www.awin1.com/tclick.php?id=USER-ID&mid=314&clickref=TRACKING-ID

But I want to add in this line "source=google&kw=007" to above URL. What I didn't know or certain is where should I put it in? Should I put in at the end such as:

http://www.awin1.com/tclick.php?id=U...ef=TRACKING-ID&source=google&kw=007

or

http://www.awin1.com/tclick.php?source=google&kw=007&id=USER-ID&mid=314&clickref=TRACKING-ID

I believe in this instance you will need to put all your 'own' tracking into the clickref parameter like so

http://www.awin1.com/tclick.php?id=USER-ID&mid=314&clickref=google_007

or...

http://www.awin1.com/tclick.php?id=USER-ID&mid=314&clickref=source_google_keyword_007

etc
