never really done any ppc , started a campaign QS is great etc the status is active etc but when i hover over the magnifing glass next to the keywords it says

"The keyword phrase doesn't currently trigger any of your ads"

so my ad is not being shown .

does anybody now y? I have increased bid amount but this has no effect

Have you checked to see if your ad is actually appearing (may take an hour or two to go live after the campaign has been set up).

The tool to display whether your ad is showing or not hasn't worked properly for a long time now. Always says your ad isn't showing when it actually is.

Only way to be sure is to do a search on your keyword and check the results.

They might be reviewing ur account, often ads say active but actually aren't when they are taking a peek at you account, temporary usually.

Does it give you a message saying the ad's are inactive (without using the tool).

It could be down to the mass google slap, but if it is that there should be a message next to each keyword without you having to do anything.

If you have been slapped, theres not much you can do about it unfortunately.

That happens to me all the time with Google. It's some kind of review process I believe. Ads usually become active after a couple of days.

    I'm sure it'll be OK

Would it have anything to do with certain keywords?
i.e are gambling or dating related keywords held for manual review?
    just a thought.
