Hi all, now that we have had a week or so to get over the recent Google Slap i was just wondering how everyone was getting over its impact.

Personally i'm still dead in the water, concentrating more on SEO but considering buying some more throwaway domains to get the ball rolling again. I have tried setting up new campaigns with some of the same keywords which were slapped but so far they have ben hit straight away again. One thing i did notice, on an adult campaign is that the new campaign just sat there ver a week and still it wasnt reviewed and hence never went live. I gave up in the end and deleted it, i didnt think an email to 'support' would be of any benefit.

Has anyone found a way round it or what is the general concensus as to the best way forward, new account, new domains or ???

    cheers

    Graham

I set up a totally new account from scratch, and pointed a new domain at the site - touch wood, it's been working fine so far.

However, I did lose all my history (excellent CTR's) so i`m paying more for a lower position

I think it's ridiculous that this is allowed to happen. Ok, it's good for me as my adverts are running again, but how come my site was disallowed last week, and yet now it's been running fine for over a week?

The cynical side to me says that maybe it's what google wants! The same ad's are running, but google are getting more now. The sensible side says though that a large number of people wouldn't of bothered setting up a new account, so google are losing more than they gain.

I don't know, i`ve given up trying to find any logic behind it!
