ads wont run .. keeps saying ive reached / exceeded my budget

1 : its a new account with £45 in it ( prepaid )

got keywords at £0.02 CPC and a £1 daily budget on prepayment
( only 2 other people advertising )

have £45 in my account never had any impressions or clicks..
it says You have reached / exceeded your limit
HOW THE HELL has this possible with 0 clicks and 0 impressions ???

oh and no im not on the content network

starting to get really anoyed at the mo
its a new account and its driving me mad , have emailed support but
nothing ..

the keywords receive VERY low search volumes so that shouldnt be an
issue

I had exactly the same thing last week, had a budget of £10 and spent 22p, but it said my budget was exceeded. The next day the ad's still weren't running and said I had exceeded the budget with zero spend.

I`m pretty sure its a bug in adwords!

The problem started for me on wednesday, and I emailed the adwords support and told them. Had nothing from them on thursday still (apart from their useless automated reply), and still no change, so emailed support again, but changed the category from "Ads not Showing" to "Billing issues".

Again, had no reply, but then on Friday the ad's were showing again. However, my position had gone from 2nd to 8th and said like that all day friday and saturday. Had a check again today and i`m back up to number 2 again.

I think its likely that Adwords support did something to get my ad showing again, but I can't be sure as I never got any response (from either email). Don't really care though, just pleased my ads showing again.

yeah its buggin the hell out of me and im gettin really frustrated ..
shame they dont have a phone number because someone would be gettin a right ear bashin

Well, there could be a genuine reason:-
You have been outbid and the minimum bid required is more than 0.02 CPC, in that scenario your ads won't show.
and,Or,
CPC for your particular keyword is more than a quid, so even to display your ad once you need to allocate more than £1, hence you are getting 'budget exceeded' message.

problem been solved .. goodl old adwords support

they put my account under review .. again ..

at least its solved now
£0.02 still

Did they say what the problem is, i had a similar problem, but was told that not all clicks are showing, something like a 3 hr delay. Waited 3 hrs and still the same. Contacted support and it took 3 days, then i was back online, no explanation or anything not even a reply to my numerous emails, apart from automated. It would be useful to know what it is, incase it happens again

Yup - its account review when they do that, the traffic police bascially come over and give you a good going over to make sure all is cool. The diagnostic though tells you something else, almost as if they don't want you to know you ae being reviewed.

Can happen a lot, triggers can be big increases to budget, reactivating ads that have been paused for ages and so on...
