Adwords and Long Tail keywords question

I am new to the affiliates4u forums and am i impressed :tup

I have recently set up a campaign that im trying to concentrate towards the content network to start off with. I have it seperated into 6 miniture campaings to cover off the main sets of key words. Each mini has about 15-20 keywords in each to start off with as well as a targeted langing page for that keyword (set by the merchant and not made by me). It may be a case of me setting up my own Landing pages but as far as ive been advised direct linking is ok for initial testing.

I have received 2 impressions throught adwords in 4 days. As far as i know im setting this up recommended way?

My second questions or ask of advice is can anyone give me a few good examples of longtail keywords and also tips on how to eaither think up LTKW's or any free tools that would help, as this area is still a bit vague to me.

If you require any more info in order to help me figure our whats going on please do ask.

Well i seem to have solved my own adwords problem by playing about a bit and getting back to basics so i thought i might share my experience of how i got things working again so maybe someone can benifit from it.

Within the mini campaigns my quality score was low on most of the keywords and as there were 6 internal campaigns targetted to each set of keywords all which had upto 20 keywords each i narrowed this down to having just 3-4 key words each this in result allows you to concentrate you efforts initially on less kewords and trying to revolve your campaigns around them easier. Worked for me and i started atleast getting a decent amount of impressions not many clicks but that will all come with tweaking and long tails im sure.

I will post back after more research of good examples on longtail keywords

Through more digging around about long tail keywords i found this informative article on doshdosh that does not directly relate to adwords based long tails but rather towards SEO organic perspective. The same methods to an extent can be applied to adsense however should be done with buyer intent in mind.
