  Re: adcenter or adwords?

If you want to reach people than Adwords is a must.

MSN and Yahoo are fine but they just don't bring in the volume that adwords does.

Making money has nothing to do with G, Y or M on thier own, it's how you use them. Spend too much and you'll lose out. Simple as that.

I find that MSN and Yahoo translate to better sales per click but Google provides the volume, and that has it's own value.

What would you rather sell: 1 item at £1 profit or 10 items at £0.50 profit?

That would kind of sum it up for me.

But there are other opinions ...

  Re: adcenter or adwords?

This is an impossible question to answer really, as theres so many variables such as type of market, your marketing experience, quality of your landing page and call to action etc etc etc.

Theres no guarantee that you`ll make money at either unfortunately.

Adcenter tends to provide more targetted traffic, but as Bud said, Adwords provides the volume as Google has a market share much higher than anyone else.

From that point of view, I`d say it would probably be better to go with Adwords.

Just don't go in with a massive CPC, it can quickly wipe out your budget, and if you let it its possible to spend large amounts of money very quickly. Affiliate marketing can be quite hard with PPC, as you are competing with merchants who have a much higher margin to work with.

Done right though, it is possible to made a good profit. Just keep experimenting, and most importantly keep notes of your experiments. When you are trying different things out, it can be hard to remember what was working and was wasn't, so make sure you log everything. That way if you go from something that was earning you money, to something that loses you money, you can rollback and try again. With PPC very subtle changes can cause big effects, such as swapping line 1 to line 2 and vice versa.

There's quite a steep learning curve to PPC, less than 40% can be learnt from reading guides and tutorials etc, the main bulk is learnt through trial and error, and eventually you develop an intuitive feel as to what will work and what doesn't. Even then you can still get a few suprises!

Give your experiments a decent amount of time, you can't say something has failed after trying it for a couple of hours. At the same time, don't go too long losing money. Theres no exact period thats right for testing, it varies according to your market and the amount of traffic you get. Thats the hardest thing, every product you sell by PPC you need to try things out with, theres no set formula, so no one can tell you exactly what you need to do to make money.

Hi,

Like i always say, adcenter is the best for beginner, 110% support and you will never regret learning from the team plus theyve got the best customer service in the WHOLE WORLD. what more do you need as a beginner than good support. its a thumbs up for adcenter. Youll be delighted youll find less competition on some prime keywords you'll think youre the only one advertising with adcenter. I think you cant regret ever saying hello to adcenter.

While you can test the depth of the sea at adcenter with both legs at a time, thou shall not test the depth of the sea at google with both legs at a time. ...eh..eh dont try to it may be too deep.

Learn adcenter before you test the water with google.

Adcenter support is great, but the platform is dreadful, virtually broken.
Google is soooooooooo easy to use in comparison its absurd.

  Re: adcenter or adwords?

Incidentally, was thinking about trying adcenter, and found this page:

https://www.tryadcenternow.co.uk/def...enter_adcenter

Gives £50 of clicks to get you started, have signed up but haven't had the email yet. Might be worth trying if you want to give it a go.

The sites an official Microsoft site.
