Re: Yahoo free Credit
Unfortunately, it doesn't work in the same way as Google where it costs you nothing to join with a £30 adwords voucher (although £5 is taken out for signup, so you end with £25), and you don't have to deposit anything.
With Yahoo, you have to make an initial deposit when you setup an account, and this is on top of the voucher. So you set up the account, deposit £60, and then you get your £50 added leaving you with £110 in your account.
It's better than nothing though, it's still £50 free and I did this myself. The £60 deposit did put me off using Yahoo for a long time though, as you're putting in the £60 without knowing if it's any good or not.
In my experience, traffic is well down on Google, but does convert pretty well. The £110 will probably last me over 6 months :-) All in all, for me it was worth doing, and with the good conversion rate it makes it cheaper per click than Google in terms of conversions. On top of that the CPC's are lower anyway, and theres a lot less competition so its cheaper to get a nice high placement for your ad.
