How do I open multiple windows with 1 click or do a reveal?

As you've probably guessed this is for a coupon code site in a nice little niche.

I've just spent the last 2 hours searching the web and experimenting with different ways of opening multiple windows with one click.

Every time the pop up blocker catches it. I tried putting an open multiple window script inbetween the header and the blocker catches it. I tried having a timeout and then open a new window and the blocker catches it.

I tried looking at the source code of some voucher sites and I can't really see how it's done.

Can anyone give me a hand?

My attempt of sarcasm toward what sounds like a fairly hot topic of the voucher code click to reveal rules perhaps did not warrant a PM with the single word : "twat"

True, you may consider me a twat. Indeed many people might, do I care? ...Nope.

You might want to explain why you want to spawn multiple windows off one click tho with a vouchercode site as I'm sure anyone else reading your question is puzzled as to why you would want to do that and also probably wont tell you how to do it if your intentions are not clear!

Ok, I'm sorry for that message but I did clearly quote your comment in addition to the horrible word so it shouldn't have come out of the blue.

Isn't it clear that I want to drop a cookie by having one window open to reveal the coupon code and another to take the visitor to the merchant when a link on my site is clicked?

I think I might have found away of doing it anyway and in fact I see a lot of voucher code sites actually just show the code without any click through (something I usually do)

I didnt understand your question. You want to drop the merchant cookie when user clicks to reveal the code and also launch the merchant site too.

Yup, sounds pretty easy and I've seen quite a few other sites doing it so you doing it too shouldnt be a problem....

Sorry I cant tell yo how to code it tho, not that techy.

Would you care to elaborate Baz, all I can see on the web are deprecated netscape elements regarding "ilayer". Although I don't care if it validates or not. So does this work on msie and how do you force the browser window opening too.

Do you have any examples or sites you've seen that do this?
