Gossamer Threads.

I have a dilemma,

I have a network of sites which I need to update badly as they have not been touched for a year.

I'm not a techie, but with something like gossamer threads links 2 can you use the results across multiple domains by using external links or do you need to install the software on it each domain/account?

Basically I need some type of simple Content Management System where I can update links once and all links across say 30 sites would be updated.

Any ideas? - does this make sense? 8o

I dont know about gos. threads

But you can do it through the server.. either domain alliasing or using symlinks.

I believe it would need to be installed for each domain.

I don't think Gossamer Threads will do the job; also I have a felling all your sites are not on the same servers. It could be done, I looked into something like what your talking about only mine works on the basis of contacting a central MySql database and pulling the data in to a local MySql database, that then in turn updates the sites. You could also do it with XML or even straightforward text feed that you get the other scripts to contact for updates.

Thanks for the tips guys.

I'm going to get a friend to look into creating some kind of php/mysql database and run it off the server as aqua mentioned.
