    Hi,
I've got some companies that are interested in listing on my site. There won't be a sale involved, just a registration. The trouble is, is that some of these firms can't supply me with a coded url to track all new registrations from my site. I don't want to lose the business - does anyone know how I can create a code that tracks new registrations from my site to another? Or perhaps a package that I can download?
Any help would be very much appreciated.
    Thanks
    Jaykay

    To clarify:

People are coming to your site, then clicking through to the other site where they register?

Or are they coming from other sites to register on yours?

Visitors are coming to my site, clicking on a link, which takes them to a registration page on a partner site...I then earn commission for each completed registration, as we do via an affiliate link. Only there is no tracking system in place. Sorry I wasn't clear....hope you can help or give me some advice.
    Thanks

It is easy enough for your partners to add a basic tracking system to their sites, but it can only be done with the cooperation of their techies, which might prove tricky.

If you are not able to get them to modify their sites then your best bet is probably to record the number of visitors you send them, and charge on a pay per click basis. You could work out the cost per click based on what you earn on average per visitor from other similar sites that you send traffic to.

Yes, that's an idea...but how will I record how many times their link is clicked from my site? Most of them aren't too keen on flat rate fee per month, which is my other option. I was hoping that there could be a way that I could register how many people are signing-up at my end. Thanks for your help though, much appreciated.

Tracking exit clicks from your site is quite easy to implement. I requires a fairly low level of technical expertise to do a bsic version.

Another option would be to have a registration form on your site, and then sell the data to relevant parties.

That sounds pretty good...do you know where or how I could learn to track exit links from a particular url on my site?
And the second option you mention is also something to think about. I could suggest this to the new leads that I've found. Thanks for all your help
