Can anyone recommend someone that can put some code togeather to automatically scrape product pages on sites to determine their price and whether they are in stock? I don't want to go down the route of using a affiliate network tool, just need basic coding that will work on the latest version of wordpress.

The code needs to scrape data from the sites at set periods of time and show the product price, postage price and combined price, plus state whether in stock based on keywords used by the merchant, so either in stock, out of stock or check.

I know D-Mac started something with me but not sure if he ever finished it; if he reads this, maybe get in touch.

Looking for recommendations for those that do this kind of thing for a living rather than an individual wanting to play. Will pay of course.

How many sites are you wanting to scrape data from - and more importantly are they the same format / layout / html etc?
