Hey Guys,

Thinking of using the open-source option that is WP for a small-medium sized project I'm starting - there is potential to scale up in a couple of years or so.

My question is - what is your opinion on using Wordpress to handle/manage 1000's of users? Is it just as good as any of the main CMS's?

This is a slightly different implementation of the WP Ignore User script (WP Ignore Users for Greasemonkey). This one completely hides the users post, including their username to the left of the post. Also, if someone quotes the user, only the quote is hidden and not their response.

But why you want to use Wordpress? Better you go for Joomla and you integrate Joomla with a blogging application thought a bridge connection in Database

Hello Tim,

If you are willing to use CMS I can will suggest you to check Drupal.

Its really good and can surely support your required users and even more.

you can check out them and its free as well.

Most of the providers offer auto installers of drupal..so installation can be done with one click of button.
