    Hi
    I am having trouble with writing a file to the server using PHP then overwriting it at a later date using the same script:
    I am using:
    PHP Code:
    $ftp=fopen(($filename), 'w');
    But when I run the script again to overwrite the file I get an error saying that the file cannot be written, I tried using chmod, but this didn't work.

    Any ideas
