I've basically had it up to here (points to eyes) with AOL.

I send my newsletter to people that have subscribed and then I get a complaint from my hosts saying aol has complained!!! GRRRR

This why I haven't sent the newsletter for 3 months. And when I do GGGrrrRRRRRrrRRR

So I'm going to put a notice on my site sayin that no aol user will be allowed to subscribe coz of AOL's numpty catch all response to spam.

Before I do this (and now coz I've got the reddies) could someone recommend a double-opt-in software??

    Cheers,

    Lee

If you run ASP i can reccommend MailerPro 2.0 found at http://www.doitasp.com/

Excellent piece of kit which runs multiple mailing lists, has email verification and if the server if set up correctly will put all bounced emails into a list for you to look at and delete. It also has email tracking so you can see when someone has opened the email.

Just been looking at mailgust .... thanks for the tip.

However, this seems to send out passwords etc.

Is there any similar software that has direct subscription?

    Thanks
