I downloaded some templates that have a PSD extension in each folder they appear to be editable in Fireworks...

Opened the PSD in Fireworks, edited what I wanted, how can I save as html, or at least to use each "slice/image" in a html file ordered in the same layout as the PSD??

first, i dont have fireworks or know what a PSD file is really.

but cant you just use the slices or images in a WYSIWYG html editor, in tables to get the layout you want?

    File > Export

save as type html and images

I think, not sure with the psd complication, could try saving as a png first if that doesnt work straight away

A PSD file is an Adobe Photoshope file. It has more than one layer and is simple to edit. However, creating a HTML page from a mock PSD design can be a piece of fine art. I have been doing it for 5 yrs now and can still prove difficult. You can also use Adobe Imageready to slice portions of the canvas into tables (within html).

What these people who sell you these templates don't tell you is the knowledge level you need to be able to transpose the finished image into a fast-loading tidy webpage.

Remember, your final images/slices must either be JGP or GIFS (usually anyhow)
