I'd go for the PHP and mysql option, the servers are cheaper than windows ones, and it is portable over both linux and windows.
Where as ASP.net is probably protable however it will be some sort of custom addon that not many host will have on there linux boxes.
As for product feeds intergration.
It quite simple to do, just get your product feed from who ever and then phase it out and add it to a database for faster searching.
I have a couple of scripts you can view if you need to see how i done it,
but i found it quite easy, and have built both a kelkoo style comparison site and a simple product catalogue.
CRap for seo as i don't have the time to be writing articles for 70k + products however all the information in there.
