Having a problem downloading big csv feeds in zipped form from awin. Can download the small ones but not the bigger files. I know this is a problem with my pc. Cant understand why though. My pc is a new dell pc and has plenty of free space on it. I just get empty files for big downloads.

    Any ideas ?

Its a problem at Awin - or at least I have the same problem, empty zip files, and I'm quite confident it isn't an issue with my pc.

At a guess their script is forking of a separate process and isn't taking into account the time it takes to generate the larger csv files.

Are you by chance trying to download the feeds using Firefox rather than IE?

My work machine has both and sometimes will only get the AWIN feeds using IE.

    Might be it?

Thanks John for being so positive.

Browsers do things differently believe it or not and 3 people here have all said that they have had problems using firefox so I would suggest the idea is not a stupid one.

You might of course be right and it could be something completley different and unrelated to the the browser ;-)
