My sites never seem to get indexed properly or rank very well even though they have loads of content.

I think the problem is due to them being dynamic pages.

Ive seen sites which are obviously dynamic but all the pages contain .html file extensions and use none of the dynamic characters such as ?&% ect.. such as www.1st-choice-ringtones.co.uk

Is it possible to automaticly convert my existing sites to static pages....

    www.ringtonesnow.co.uk
    www.ringtoning.co.uk

...if so how is it done

    Cheers

I know it involves use of the mod rewrite function do a forum search and I'm sure you'll find some helpful posts.

    Theres two ways I think

The old way which I used to use before I switched to php was to have cusom 404 error pages - do a google search for info

I think theres also so sort of mod_rewrite for asp that people use these days now but like I said Im not up to date on asp any more

Personally Id recommend switching to php - you'll end up doing it eventually I expect anyway

    Agree with OLBG

But PHP on Linux, as you can also run PHP under Windows.. which wont help you much.

Still Ive heard theres some form of mod_rewrite under Windows , but thats all I know.

In long run much cheaper and easier to switch IMO
