Hi Elaine
Are you entering the code in the properties dialog or in the 'code view' - I find code view works best if you're adding parameters on the end.
trying to be professional I though I would start tracking what my visitors are buying - so - I added:
?SID=productdescription
to the end of the code provided in the CJ downloads - and dreamweaver promply overwrites the code which results in an error page.
If I remove the ?SID=productdescription - everything appears fine and dandy.
anyboyd know why and if there's a solution? and does anyone have any other problems adding this type of tracking onto affiliate codes?

Never argue with idiots. They just drag you down to their level and then beat you with their experience.
If ignorance is bliss then some of the people I know must be orgasmic.
yep I was using the design view - but I've also changed the preferences page - I had excluded the extension .shtml from being overwritten - now I've included .htm - so that might have had an effect.
seems to be working OK now - thanks for your help Keith
