    Hi

Can anyone steer me towards a solution for this?, I have a site with only a few images, on loading in the browser the images are loaded reasonably quickly but 1 by 1 which bugs me!

Is there anyway or script to either pause the loading of the page for a few seconds until all the images are in place or I guess pre-loading the images would be the way to go? (script?)

I just think sites look more impressive if they hit the screen "in full" rather than appear in sections.

    TIA, Neil...

Haven't seen anything like it before but just as a quick brainstorm you could try putting the whole content in an invisable layer/div.

Then with 'body onLoad' make the layer/div visable?

I may have more time to have a look at it after the weekend, but the living room is filling up with thirsty friends at the moment and its probably my last post of the day
