I've mentioned before but I no longer get email notifications despite having that option switched on in my profile.

I don't know if people aslo recieve notification for community posts, blog back/slaps or writing on profile walls but if they do... well, again I don't.

Would love to have this feature back

Hi Paul,

We're looking into email notification problems right now, it seems some people are getting them and some people aren't so I am going over the forum with a finetooth comb and checking everything out. I will keep you all informed on this thread.

Hi everyone,

I just did some checking with Spreader's account and email notifications are definitely being sent by the forum. Hopefully you should all be notified of this message by email.

If not please check your junk/spam folders and email client settings as they may be considering affiliates4u.com emails as spam. This may happen even if you have received notification emails in the past prior to the relaunch of the site. We moved from a different server for the relaunch so you may need to re-train your email clients to recognise the emails as not being spam.

Nothing here. Have checked spam and trash for today and still nothing.

I've looked at my filters and can't see anything that would prevent a4u emails coming through.

What address do they come from? perhaps I can set up a rule as a back up?

In addition to not recieving any notifications it looks like I've got a pretty limited user control panel. i.e. I used to be able to change avatar, change the bit of text under my name etc. screen grab attached.

Perhaps my user profile is in a different category than other people here as I recall matt changing it a while back when I also had problems posting attachements.

Hi Paul,

To keep everyone's forum and community profiles synced correcly we've taken a few of the vbulletin options out and you have to change things like your avatar in your main affiliates4u profile, which you should be able to view if you click the 'my profile' link in the header.

At the moment we don't have the facility to allow people to change their title's I.e. Fishboy in your profile But we should be adding this function to your main profile early next week. It's on the development list, along with a few other features which seem to be missing from the profile screen.

Until then if anyone desperately wants to get rid or change their 'title' then please PM me and I'll tweek it manually for you.

Hope to see you all tonight and you can tell me what else needs doing to make affiliates4u THE place to be! lol

on the email notifications, I keep getting updates on Communities I'm not a member of. I had been invited in for some but rejected the invitation, and some others I haven't even stepped foot in there.
