    Descriptive title or what Wasn't really sure what else to put down tbh

    Just noticed on my blog that since upgrading to the latest version, somehow the character  has randomly appeared in old posts. It doesn't happen in new posts or pages just old ones.

    Anyone got any idea how this may have happened or even better, how I can reverse it, quickly and easily without having to edit every single page?

    Example can be seen here
    My performance has improved significantly during 2007, and I am not talking about the type that requires a little blue pill!

    Not sure exactly where the problem lies, as I haven't used wordpress for a file, but it's almost certainly down to the character set changing either for pages or the database.

    I would imagine that the database probably hasn't changed, so its probably the Doc type on the page.

    Call up wordpress in your browser, and view the source. You`ll see something like:

    PHP Code:
    <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=UTF-8" />
    If you've got an installation you haven't upgraded yet, do the same and compare the charset. You can then change it in the new wordpress pages.

    Sorry I can't be more help, unfortunately i`m snowed under with work at the moment, so can't look into it probably, but hopefully the above will help you track it down.

    I had this problem a while back.

    To solve it at the time i had to go and edit the effected posts as it seemed to have put extra spaces between the words!

    After i did this it looked fine!
    Thanks Lee

    Try disabling all your plugins and see if it fixes it; I had (other) quirks with the last couple of WP updates.
