I'm about to alter the comments.php file on my Wordpress theme but wanted to check there wasn't an easier way to do this through a plugin before I do. Currently my comments section consists of just a text field.

I want to add a name, email and website field plus make the name and email field required. I've been through Wordpress several time but haven't found an easy way to do this. Am I missing something?

Aren't they already included or do you have a strange theme? If you're previewing your blog in your browser, make sure you logout first or you will just see the comment box.

On a side note, anyone use the postratings plugin (Wordpress)?

I'm having an issue configuring the widget on my sidebar so that it shows a text rating alongside the ratings image. Everything appears as it should in wordpress admin but there's no text. Any ideas?
