I could really do with some help here.

I've got a generic category in my WP blog set up for "news"

In that section, there are various sub categories for each of the merchants I promote. On my homepage, I want to list those sub categories so that visitors can find all the latest news about a particular brand.

I know you can use wp_list_categories() to list all the major categories, but is there a way of listing the sub categories? Or will I need to do it manually?

    Thanks alot,

I think it's something like wp_list_categories(child_of=3) where 3 is the news category with sub-categories.
