Searching for a coupla scripts

Hi all,

I'm currently looking for a couple of php/mysql scripts, free of course. If anyone can point me in the right direction I'd appreciate it. Have searched Sourceforge but couldn't really come up with anything specific.

1) Recipes script - where users can submit.
2) Article script - similar to Article Friendly, but Open Source.

This is actually very easy to do yourself, and shouldn't take you long to learn. I think it's worth learning how to do it yourself, as you'll be able to modify it as needed.

Do a search for "PHP Database Tutorial" in Google and you'll find a load of articles that will help you, such as the one below:

PHP makes things like this very simple to do with a very short script.

I`d recommend getting a book such as Sams "Teach yourself PHP in 24 Hours", which will explain everything you need to know, and give you a great grounding to start creating anything you need for your affiliate sites.
