Don't know whether or not this would interest you, butI have a feed coming from my affiliate blog into our Twitter page.

It automatically posts the title and I think the first 160 characters of the post + a clickable tinyurl link to the actual article.

The service that does this for you is called Twitterfeed (see http://twitterfeed.com). Enter your details and hey presto - automatic feed is setup :tup!

    Kind regards

I am testing a few different strategies on Twitter as well, and with any social network type website you have to bear in mind that you need to build up a network of followrs and not just spam the ones you have.

Also keen to hear others experience with Twitter for affiliate purposes.

See my A4U post here - the Firefox add on Power Twitter allows you to add images and inline Youtube videos within your Twitter page / your followers Twitter timeline.

Okay I finally signed up with Twitter and I still don't see what the big deal is. The font is very small on my browser so I can't really see what I'm reading. I tried to email customer support, but when I click on the contact us icon, I am forwarded to a help blog. Does anyone know how to fix the font issue? Will I need to fix something within my browser, or are there settings on Twitter that can be changed?? It is probably something basic that is just under my nose.

I still have no idea how this Twitter thing really drives traffic, but I will continue to use it and work out all the kinks. I like the idea of an automatic feed. The more I can automate the better. Automation is key! I have also heard that Facebook and youtube can drive a ton of traffic. I think youtube would be one of the best ways to bring a good amount of traffic in, but I am so shy. I wouldn't want to make amateur videos, but perhaps I will get into that later on.
