Sainsbury's Supermarkets is the UK's longest standing major food retailing chain, having opened its first store in 1869. Why should I promote Sainsbury’s?

Commission rates are awarded on a 30 days cookie as follows:

•£5.00 per new grocery customer*
•Appliances 2% (currently tracked through Sainsbury’s Kitchen Appliances account, 1160, please ask if you have any questions)
•Home & Garden 3%
•Sport & Leisure 5%
•Technology 2%
•Toys & Games 4%

*A new customer is defined as someone who has not registered to purchase groceries within the last six months

Please note, there will be no cross tracking between the groceries section of the site and the rest of Sainsburys.co.uk for the first few weeks of programme launch

A separate account (1945) is operating groceries on Affiliate Window with a separate trackable link and merchant ID. This is a temporary solution and the two accounts will be combined and only one set of links needed in the near future.

Please join account “Sainsbury’s Groceries” (1945) in order to link through to groceries.

Showcase your business in much more detail as it allows you to list fuller promotional descriptions, list and categorise all of your sites and allow you to add more comprehensive contact information. This in turn makes it easier for the Account Management Team, and Sainsbury’s to understand what partnership opportunities you hold for the programme. It’s how great relationships will be built!

Programme Terms and Conditions

Loyalty and reward sites

Please note that due to the direct relationship Sainsbury’s operate with Nectar no reward sites working on point loyalty systems will be able to work on the Sainsbury’s affiliate programme. This does not include cashback sites, only sites offering points schemes.
If you run several sites under the same ID, including a rewards or loyalty points scheme but wish to promote Sainsbury's on your other sites please contact the team to discuss your application onto the programme.

To celebrate the launch of Sainsbury's, we will be offering affiliates the chance to win vouchers, an Online Trolley Dash or choose a prize from our shopping list!

•A voucher for your first sale! Generate your first sale and as a welcome we’ll send you a £10.00 Sainsbury’s voucher. Simple as that!

•An Online Trolley Dash! One lucky winner will be invited to Sainsbury’s HQ and given a designated amount of time on the site to add as many products to their basket as they can. Their prize is the contents of the basket!

•You choose the prize! If you’ve promoted Sainsbury’s by writing a great blog post, reviewing a product, designing a page, using a content widget or with any other creative work you want to show off and we like what you’ve done then you can choose your prize from this list

Competition Terms and Conditions

The ‘voucher for your first sale’ and ‘Online Trolley Dash’ competitions will run from Monday 10th August to Friday 11th September 2009 inclusive and do not include grocery leads. Prizes will be awarded based on sales which are validated as ‘approved’.

The ‘Online Trolley Dash’ competition winner will be chosen at random from all approved sales generated within the time frame. The more sales you make the higher your chances of being selected.

Entries for the ‘You Choose the Prize’ competition will be on a discretionary first come first serve basis. Entries must include the URL, a screenshot and your affiliate ID and be sent to - sainsburys@affiliatewindow.com
