Burberry finally returned home for LFW, and ended the best LFW to date with a boom…
As Sarah Bower says it on Style.com: the online home of Vogue; Fashion, Fashion Shows, Shopping & More : ‘A shining, silver paillette-encrusted trenchcoat sparkling on the runway as metallic confetti rained down: This is the memory London fashion week will have of its 25th anniversary—and the Burberry show that ended it. ….‘The message was Burberry gone short, draped, deluxe, and glamorous, and aimed at the very young.’

Our Buying Director Luisa De Paula was there, and she was very impressed by the show, commenting:
‘It was big, amazingly impressive, polished with the who’s who of retail and celebs there; Samantha Cameron, Donna Air, Victoria Beckham, Liv Tyler, Anna Wintour, Emily Watson, Alexa Chung, Stuart Rose to name but a few.’
‘It had the DNA of a massive Milan show. ‘

We are very proud to be stocking the more accessible line of Burberry on our site, which is highly influenced by the Prorsum line and we are incredibly excited to see what Christopher has got up his sleeve for us next season.
