Châteauneuf du Pape -50%

Small drift boulders (galets roules) and round rocks from the ancient river bed are a key aspect to what makes Chateauneuf-du-Pape so distinctive. The rocks reflect heat back into the vines at night and in turn increases ripeness and reduces acidity. Thee gloriously rich red wines, redolent of the heat and herbs of the south are enhanced by the complexity which comes from blending up to 13 grape varieties!
