In 1924, Harry Grosberg founded Belstaff in Victoria Palace, Longton, Stoke-on-Trent in Staffordshire in the English Midlands. The original product line consisted of waterproof garments for men and women. The company logo is of a phoenix rising up and was chosen as a symbol of the continuity through the times of the good and bad fate.
